Rosebud Daycare was born in 2023 out of Monique’s desire to create a high quality, holistic-minded childcare option for our local community. We realized first-hand that there was a shortage of care in the valley, let alone care that meets the high standards we hold for our own children, and rather than just homeschooling our own, decided to open up an avenue for other families as well.

We are fully registered and permitted, with a local business licence in place as well as having completed State of Idaho facility permitting through Idaho Stars.

As for me… Greetings! I’m Miss Monique and I live at the site our home daycare with my husband and 3 daughters, 14, 5, and 3.

My eldest two daughters have attended Waldorf school throughout their elementary school years, and this is where I have learned and been inspired by this form of education.

As a professional yoga and dance teacher of over 15 years, I value the importance of young children learning primarily through play, creativity, and somatic body awareness. For this reason, we implement simple elements of yoga and dance, rhythm and song, and arts and crafts into our time together.

I value creativity, individuality, and creating an environment for children to be curious and present with their God-given innocence, and the organic development of their authentic voice and innate skills.

Hours and Rates:

During standard weeks, our daycare is open:

Monday-Thursday

9:00am-4:00pm (7 hours total)

Rates:

Full day- $60/day (full day students receive registration priority)

Half Day- $45/day (3.5 hours morning or afternoon: 9:00am-12:30 or 12:30-4:00pm)

Full time monthly tuition: $950/month

Minimum 2 days/week, minimum 2 month commitment contracted individually from child to child (some drop-ins slots may be available based on availability and circumstance)

New Child Registration/Supplies fee: A one-time $200 registration and supplies fee will be requested upon registration for a new child.

Holiday Schedule:

We are open based loosely around the childhood public school schedule. This opening 2023/24 year we will run through May, and then we will determine the summer schedule at that point.

There will be no childcare available on the following holidays:

Labor Day

Thanksgiving (Wednesday & Thursday)

Christmas/New Years break (2 weeks, dates vary by year)

Spring Break (1 week, dates vary by year)

Independence Day
